The mission of the LACUNY Library Faculty Mentoring Roundtable is to offer cross-campus support and encouragement for library faculty on the tenure-track.  The mentoring program/project will pair senior library faculty with instructors, untenured assistant, untenured associate, and untenured full professors for the purpose of individualized support to help new faculty with acclimation to the CUNY environment, professional growth and development, advancement in rank, and advancement in the profession.  Because of varying individual campus requirements for tenure and promotion, this relationship will be limited to informal advice on research, publishing, and professional associations. The program is intended to complement any existing programs.
