The CUNY-Shanghai University Faculty Exchange program was inaugurated in the spring, with visits by two librarians. Pan Lan, of Shanghai Normal University, spent four weeks at Baruch, while Ming Lu, of Shanghai University, was at Lehman for six weeks. Meanwhile, Ellen Sexton of (John Jay) and Subash Gandhi (Queens) represented CUNY in Shanghai.

The LACUNY International Relations Roundtable held a reception for the visitors at the Graduate Center on May 13. The exchange program is the brainchild of Kenneth Schlesinger (Lehman).
