Announcements

Borough of Manhattan is the first CUNY community college to participate in the CUNY QuestionPoint Cooperative.  Kanu Nagra, Phyllis Niles, Susan Thomas, and Linda Wadas participate in the service.  Other CUNY libraries in the Cooperative are Baruch, Brooklyn, Graduate Center, Hunter, and John Jay.

Brooklyn’s archives unit has acquired collections related to journalist Jack Newfield and boxers Jack Barrett and Emmett Rocco.  The boxing archive caught the attention of The Chronicle of Higher Education.

John Drobnicki (York) has created “A Brief History of the York College Library“.
