School Scholarship

Dália M. Leonard

Dália M. Leonardo served as President of the Library Association of CUNY (LACUNY) from July 2011 to July 2012. Her scholarship reflected her interests in early modern European history and the library sciences (digitization, description, and organization). Dália died October 31, 2012 after a months-long struggle with cancer. In honor of her lifelong contributions to the field, LACUNY has created the Dália Leonardo Library School Scholarship. This scholarship will feature a $750 stipend, as well as a one year sponsored membership to LACUNY, and will be awarded annually to two current library school students.
