Submit a proposal here: https://form.jotform.com/250055421209244 (due Feb 6, 2025)

We invite presentations from library workers who wish to share how they advocate for libraries (and themselves) through the provision of library services, events, communications, and partnerships.

Possible topics may include (but are not limited to) responses to the following prompts:

  1. What faculty outreach strategies do you use to increase advocacy?

  2. What activities /events does the library engage in that builds advocacy? This could be targeted to students, faculty, administrators, or the broader community.

  1. How do you promote a supportive work culture of library workers who advocate for each other?

  1. What communication strategies do you use with students or faculty to advocate for yourself and libraries?

We are interested in hearing your strategies about how you advocate for libraries, library workers, library services, and more.

This year’s LACUNY Dialogues will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025 and will start at 2:00pm.
